Sports Massage

After 6 years of working with Premiership Football clubs, I wanted to bring the same level of professional and individualised care to everyone, by offering sports massage therapy at times and place to suit even the most hectic lifestyle.

Our primary focus is individualised care for you;

Massage provides many benefits to both body and mind. Whether you are stressed, tired, overworked or over trained, massage can help you improve both mentally and physically. Massage therapy can help;
  • Relieve muscular tension
  • Improve posture
  • Healing of damaged tissue
  • Relieve stress
  • Improve flexibility and range of movement
  • Reduce blood pressure
  • Improve circulation
  • Enhance capacity for calm and creative thinking
  • Promote relaxation
  • Reduce levels of anxiety
  • Improve immune system function
  • Enhance the health of your skin

Not Sporty ???

Sports massage therapy is not just for sports people. The stresses that we put on our bodies everyday by simply sitting for long periods at desks, carrying heavy bags and generally living in a modern world can all add up.

The most common problems that we see in the city are back and neck pain. A high percentage of these problems can be treated quickly and effectively with massage therapy.

Many of these issues are caused by poor posture. A small postural issue can increase the tension within muscles in the back and neck. This increase in tension will not only cause pain but can limit movement and affect your ability to concentrate. The most common causes for this tension are; Your workstation not being correctly set up for you, incorrect lifting of heavy objects, carrying a heavy bag on one shoulder and working in stressful environments. Massage can release this tension from the muscle and return you to normal.

It may be necessary to get advice about exercises and stretches that can be done at home to correct the underlying issue to the problem. We can also arrange to visit your workstation to make sure that it is ergonomically correct for you.
